Few words about Our School
Mount Litera Zee High School Hayath nagar is one of the best CBSE school in Hyderabad, is established in the year of 2009 in a lush green campus. It is an endeavor by the Essel Group led by Shri Subhash Chandra to prepare leaders of the 21st century through its Education arm, Zee learn.
Brain science and Human development research confirm that school years play a defining role in ‘our sense of self’ and ‘our view of life’. To fulfill our vision of Improving Human Capital of India, it was imperative that we bring innovation in schooling. Mount Litera Zee High School has been our endeavor in this direction.

Twenty years back, we waited for the 9’o clock news to know what is happening in the world. Today, Twitter, facebook and 24 hour news channels tell us immediately what is happening in distant Hait! Twenty years back, we got our first mobile phone. Today, cameras, alarm clocks, music players, video recorders and calendars have all collapses into the phone. Our Children entering schools today will graduate in 2030. And we have no clue what the world will look like in 2030!
We might or might not be there. But our children are going to live and lead that world. Are today’s schools preparing them for that future? Are we even thinking about what kind of person will be able to lead that world?
It is these questions that spurred us to start mount Litera Schools. We began by asking what makes a great school. And we were bombarded with various answers – technology enabled schools, new age schools, modern facilties and other buzzwords. But when we dug deeper, we realized that these wree half-truths because they did not have the child at the center.
How do we create a school system that nurtures these natural traits of children? How do we ensure schooling does not come in the way of learning? How do we develop whole individuals and not bookworms?

At Mount Litera Zee High School, we have always believed that education is the key to unlock the unique infinite potential within each child. In order to do that, we envisioned a future for our children in detail and planned backwards from that future. We envisioned the skill sets needed for every child who emerges from the portals of Mt. Litera Zee Schools. This emerging student profile forms the DNA of all that we do for the child.
The emergent student profile is a healthy balance between knowledge, skills and values. This healthy balance lies at the core of all our scholastic and co-scholastic planning. The prioritization of disciplines and the emphasis on academics provides the skills, 21st century adults will need and the values and habits that will bring them opportunities for transformational leadership.
Mount Litera School pedagogy defined as Litera Octave, is a curriculum that has certain critical attributes. It is interdisciplinary, project-based, and research-driven. It is connected to the community – local, state, national and global. The curriculum incorporates higher order thinking skills, multiple intelligences, technology and multimedia. The curriculum and instruction are designed to challenge all students, and provides for differentiation.
