SCHOOL POLICIES
At Zee High School, we are committed to fostering a safe, disciplined and enriching learning environment. These policies ensure clarity and smooth functioning for students, parents, and the school community.
Transfer Certificate (TC) Policy
- Parents must apply for the Transfer Certificate (TC) within the specified time frame, on or before 28 Feb.
- Late TC applications beyond mention date will require payment of 60% Term-1 Tuition fee of the following academic year to collect the Certificate.
- Once a TC is issued, re-admission will require fresh enrollment as per the school’s admission process.
School Fee Structure & Revision Policy
- The school fee is subject to an annual revision of 5% to 10%, keeping in mind inflation and operational costs.
- If major infrastructural developments, such as new buildings, sports facilities, or academic advancements, are undertaken, the fee structure may be revised in consultation with the School Management Committee (SMC).
- All revised fee structures will be communicated in advance to parents.
Code of Conduct & Disciplinary Policy
- Open Communication: Parents are encouraged to use designated communication channels to share concerns and feedback.
- Respect & Discipline: Any actions or behavior by students or parents that disrupt the school environment or harm the school’s reputation will be subject to strict action.
- Behavioral Expectations: The school reserves the right to take appropriate action, including counseling, warnings, or suspension, in cases of persistent behavioral concerns that affect the school environment.
- Parental Conduct: Parents are expected to engage with the school ethically and respectfully. Repeated violations may result in the withdrawal of certain privileges, including participation in school events or services.
- Our goal is to maintain a positive and respectful learning environment for all students.
Fee Refund & Withdrawal Policy
- If a student withdraws from school in the middle of the academic year, the fees paid will not be refunded.
- Admission fees, annual fees, and term fees are non-refundable once paid.
- Any refund requests will be considered only in exceptional cases (such as relocation due to job transfers), at the discretion of the management.
Safety & Accidents Policy
- The school takes every possible measure to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
- In the event of an accident, the school will immediately inform parents and take necessary medical action.
- While the school follows strict safety protocols, it cannot be held liable for accidents where all reasonable precautions have been taken.
- In cases where negligence is identified, appropriate action will be taken as per CBSE guidelines.
Attendance & Punctuality Policy
- Students must maintain a minimum attendance of 75% to be eligible for promotions and examinations.
- Frequent absences without prior intimation may lead to disciplinary action.
- Parents should ensure students arrive at school on time to avoid disruptions to learning.
Technology & Digital Conduct Policy
- Students must use school-provided technology responsibly.
- Cyberbullying, inappropriate content sharing, or misuse of digital platforms will lead to strict action.
- Mobile phones, smartwatches, or other personal gadgets are not permitted in school unless approved for educational purposes.
Parent-School Collaboration Policy
- Parents play a vital role in their child’s education. We encourage regular communication through PTMs, emails, and the school portal.
- Any concerns should be raised through proper channels rather than public forums or social media.
- Mutual respect and cooperation between parents and school staff is essential for a positive learning environment.
Transport & Bus Safety Policy
- The school transport service is a privilege, not a right. Misconduct on school buses may result in suspension of transport services.
- The school ensures GPS tracking, trained drivers, and attendants for student safety but cannot be held responsible for external road conditions, delays, or unforeseen incidents.
Transport Fee Payment:
- The transport service will be automatically discontinued if the transport fee is not paid within the specified due date.
- Reinstating transport services will require full payment of outstanding dues, subject to seat availability.
- Parents must notify the school in advance in case of any transport-related concerns or changes.
Medical & Health Policy
- Parents must inform the school of any pre-existing medical conditions their child has.
- In case of medical emergencies, the school will provide first aid and contact parents immediately.
- The school advises parents not to send sick children to school to prevent the spread of infections.
